ATHOUSANDFACETS

Jewellery Instagram Influencer Athousandfacets commissioned us to make a Spectrum Halo Ring using a one-of-a-kind Australian Black Opal cut by Ancients17 in the USA.

ASH’S RING

Ash’s ring was crafted into 18ct yellow gold using heirloom 22ct gold. We re-alloyed the metal reducing the carat slightly to achieve a more buttery yellow colour compared to the yellow-orange of 22ct.

Cassandra’s ring

We made a beautiful 18ct gold ring for Cassandra using a Aquamarine

Caroline's Ring 5.jpg

Caroline’s ring

Caroline’s ring is crafted in recycled 18ct yellow gold with her own 4.4ct Emerald, which we took from an unworn ring.

We handmade the ring in using traditional goldsmithing techniques by scoring and folding sheet metal while forging the shank to create the band.

Natasha’s ring

We created a 18ct yellow gold, sapphire and diamond ring from heirloom jewellery passed through generations. We melted down gold bracelets to make the ring and had the stones expertly set in bespoke settings with sprinklings of our signature speckles.

Briony%27s+Ring+8.jpg

Briyony’s ring

Dave found a rock with a garnet crystal while hiking in Greenland, which he deiced to take home. Our friend Chris Massey cut and faceted the garnet crystal to create this unique stone and with a brief of creating a one of a kind ring with an ancient feel we created this special ring. A halo of grey diamonds frame the garnet and rich 18ct yellow gold lifts the red tones and the final mill grain edge provides a rustic aesthetic.

Tom+Opal+2.jpg

Tom’s Opal

We made this special pendant for Tom’s partner to celebrate the birth of the baby. This special one of a kind Opal from Lightening Ridge in Australia sits in a 18ct Green Gold bezel setting on an oxidised backing to highlight the fire and colour in this special stone.

Keren & Simon’s Ring

Keren and Simon came to us with an heirloom diamond and platinum ring that Simon inherited. Inspired by our signature speckle asymmetric rings, we worked together to create a one-of-a-kind ring using both the platinum and diamond alongside a new pear Australian sapphire.

Sam’s Ring

We created this bespoke ring with Sam using a vivid aquamarine set in 14ct white gold. Based on our signature Asymmetric Speckle Ring this a stone and metal combination that we wouldn’t of thought about creating!

Jacqui’s Ring

Jacqui came to us with her mothers antique Burmese Ruby and diamond ring which wasn’t to her taste, so we worked together to create a one of a kind ring. The oval ruby sits in a custom handmade 18ct yellow gold setting on a platinum D profile band which was cast using metal from another broken ring.

Claire’s Ring

Claire’s parents commissioned us to make a graduation present to celebrate her milestone and we found this special princess cut peach sapphire and created a one of a kind square ring in 9ct white gold.

Nancy%27s+Ring+3+copy.jpg

Nancy’s Ring

We worked with Nancy to remodel her Grandmothers ring into a modern Etruscan treasure using the Old Cut Diamonds and gold from two rings. We combined 18ct yellow gold some 22ct from an old wedding band to create a unique alloy just for Nancy. Tiny granules of gold are fused to the rings settings, framing the diamonds.

Natalie%27s+Ring+1.jpg

Natalie’s ring

Big and bold is just what Natalie wanted, so we created a one-of-a-kind Tourmaline Speckle ring in 18ct yellow gold. A double claw design was incorporated to hold the stone in place with clusters of our signature speckles around the setting.

Gill Wing

We created this one-of-a-kind ring for Gill Wing Jewellery using a spectacular Madagascar Sapphire in a contemporary art deco style. We enhanced the colour of the sapphire with coloured diamonds grain set each side. Buttery 18ct yellow gold brings the whole piece together.
